Fire department members come from all walks of life and share a common interest - to help their fellow neighbors when crisis strikes. There are many different tasks that need to be performed in our department. If you are willing to give us some of your time, we have an assignment for you within the fire department. If you are interested in joining the Gaylordsville Volunteer Fire Department or would like more information, call 860-354-6396, or stop in and talk to any of the volunteer firefighters. General meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 8 PM and work sessions are held on Thursday evenings at 7 PM at the firehouse.
